WE ARE HIRING
WE ARE HIRING
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and experienced land worker to take on a role as Agriculture & Ecology Coordinator.
Volunteer
We host volunteers in land-based accommodation, involving them in agriculture, ecosystem restoration and land management, and maintenance and construction. We are looking for passionate, independent, and curious volunteers to join our project, share their wisdom, and work and learn alongside us.
Personal Residencies
We host individual and group residencies for creative practitioners interested in pursuing their practice in dialogue with the land and/or who are looking for a peaceful, expansive environment to explore a personal project. In exchange, residents make a financial and/or in kind contribution to the project.
Run a Collective Process
We are open to hosting communities of practice, courses, group processes, group residencies and retreats. We are especially interested in supporting work which takes place in dialogue with the land and which might become a sustained process over time.
Propose a Project
We are open to supporting passionate people to explore and experiment in dialogue with the land. If you have an idea you are seeking a supportive context to explore, please reach out and share your idea, how it might be relevant to the land, and how we can support this exploration.
Private Rentals
We welcome private rentals, especially for individuals and groups who are drawn to our project and wish to make a contribution to the material conditions of our developing ecosystem.
Democratic Education
Banana Mountain welcomes unschooled young people from 6 - 18, hosts creative residencies, welcomes volunteers to support the development and maintenance of the site, and is always open to interesting collaborations, possibilities and invitations. To find our more, contact the Banana Mountain team via their website.
Support us materially
Unión de los ríos is a small non-profit organisation that aims to function sustainably, remunerate work fairly, support access to our offerings regardless of participants economic circumstances, and practice ecological responsibility. In the world we currently inhabit, this is a difficult set of aims to achieve simultaneously. If you want to support our work, all donations, no matter how small, are very gratefully received.
